A reminder of how Brown can be removed as Johnson prepares his bid

In early March (yes, 3 months ago) I had a debate with John Rentoul on how "the complex Labour leadership rules could be overcome" to remove Brown.  As the rumours of plots and round robin letters circulate it is well worth revisiting John’s post, especially in the light of what Lobbydog is now reporting, that Alan Johnson has more or less decided to stand.

  2. Lobbydog, I assume that Johnson will leave it until Monday because that will be the day of the reshuffle rather than Friday?
