The plotters will have to do better than this

Andrew Sparrow reported that the plotters will meet on Monday evening:

Progress, the Blairite pressure group, has just sent out a press notice inviting us to a "debate on the future of the Labour party" in the Boothroyd room in Portcullis House on Monday at 7pm. The two key speakers are Caroline Flint and Stephen Byers. It sounds as if that could be the moment when "plotters" join together and launch their bid to topple Brown in earnest.

No doubt we will get more rumours over the weekend.  Let us hope they come up with something more innovative than this otherwise Brown will be in office until the election.
