Paddy makes progress

Paddy Ashdown on the Daily Politics:

Gordon Brown isn’t serious about electoral reform, and added that the Prime Minister’s interest in it is about making his own position more secure.

Is the same Paddy Ashdown that was rather taken in by Blair about coalitions and electoral reform some years ago?  I think so.  Paddy was charmed by Blair, but won’t be bullied by Brown.
