What Labour has to answer today

On what will no doubt be a fast moving day, a few questions for the Labour party:

Should a leader responsible for the worst results since 1918 stand down?

Can Brown lead Labour to an election victory?

Can Brown close down the leadership debate within the Labour party?

Should Brown put himself forward for a leadership election to settle the matter?

Is Brown capable of re-engaging with Labour's grassroots?

Can the Labour party rebuild and be capable of fighting an effective general election campaign?

How can Labour regain the vote in it’s heartlands and mitigate the BNP vote?

Can another leader regain the initiative and avoid catastrophe at the general election?
