Nock Robinson is reporting that neither James Purnell or Caroline Flint are planning resignation statements. Hazel Blears will give one but this will focus on policy. So, we will get no Geoffrey Howe moments.
At the end of the day it will come down to what Labour backbenchers decide and at present this is far from clear. So, Monday remains Brown’s D-Day as it has been for some months.
I don't know if that means anything. This government and Labour don't care a fig for Parliament. Their dirty work is done via the media.
