MPs are on a another planet

Jeers and groans from MPs greeted David Cameron’s questions on expenses and allowances at PMQs.  Cameron was right to say at the end that he could hear the ‘rustle of long grass’.  Brown is clearly going to use the review as a reason to do nothing in the short-term.

MPs are living on another planet if they believe this issue is going to evaporate and people will move on.  There is a clamour to sort this issue out once and for all , and for this to be done now.

MPs just do not get it.
