Biscuit Bill to be rushed through

imageRumours are circulating that the Government will introduce a Biscuit Name Protection Bill as early as Monday.  The Bill is expected to be passed by the Commons and Lords without a vote.  Royal Assent will then follow on Tuesday.

The new law will be make it illegal for anyone to be asked to name their favourite biscuit during media interviews.

Downing Street have become increasingly frustrated of late at the trivial nature of questions Brown is subjected to every time he is interviewed.  A spokesperson said that these questions are diverting attention from the message Brown is attempting to get across before the election.
