Falling out over Tony

Tony Blair, that three times election winning machine, is causing trouble.

There are mixed messages coming from the French diplomatic community over plans to make him the first President of Europe.  All this has proved too much for Murdoch’s stable mates, The Times and The Sun, who are now at loggerheads over this issue

The Sun reports that Blair has it the bag, with a French diplomat saying:

Who will dare say no to Tony Blair?

But The Times reports that there is cunning plan afoot to keep Blair out, with a French diplomat saying:

Tony Blair is a man of the past.

All this and the Irish have yet to vote.
