The poll moves the wrong way for Cameron

Other findings:

41% of people still think the [Tory] party is not being honest with the public about the economic measures they will take.

Nearly half (49%) said they thought the main priority of a Tory government would be to protect the interests of the rich as opposed to 34% who said they would protect those on average incomes.

And 60% of those asked said they did not believe Mr Cameron understood "the problems normal people face in their everyday lives".

Could this be a reason:

imageThis may be an early indication that Gambler George may have said too much.  We will have to wait for Cameron to complete the picture and then for those definitive post-conference polls.
