Photos galore is what we are going to get as Team Cameron marches down the road to No10.
A press photographer has been hired “to provide behind the scenes images of the Tory leader to the media….such as Mr Cameron’s private meetings with colleagues and encounters with his wife, Sam, and children, Nancy and Elwen”, but:
Mr Cameron’s aides are nervous that it will be portrayed as evidence of presidential pretensions.
They are right.
Predictably, Alastair Campbell is already on the case:
The tough Tory talk on Europe is being led by William Hague. Mr Cameron is otherwise engaged, busy getting his picture taken by his newly hired personal photographer.
Why give away free ammunition to Labour?
Maybe this a small insignificant matter, but a touch of hubris could well be creeping in.
