No10 has decided to revolutionise how it communicates during the dying weeks of the Brown premiership and will now ‘Podcast’ his thoughts in a series of “fireside chats”. You will be pleased to know that they are audio only. Wait for it:
Number 10 is likening this message to US president Franklin Roosevelt's "fireside chat" broadcasts in the 1930s and 1940s.
Steve Jobs, although worried about an immediate fall in sales of his product, can be reassured that this particular series of Podcasts will be very short indeed.
