Today reports “the green custard” instantly on the 8 o’clock news. Twitter goes wild. Blogs go into overdrive. Is this really such a newsworthy incident?

Even low level violence should be condemned. This act really was 'plain stupid'. At the risk of sounding alarmist, what if the slime had been acid? The world would not have been so amused, methinks.
