The pundits keep having a go at Cameron

Steve Richards and Rachel Sylvester (surprisingly) have continued with the snipping at Cameron.  Richards ties himself in knots over the hung parliament issue.

There is something bubbling up with commentators relative to Cameron.  Are they bored as Bagehot suggests, or is there something more fundamental going on?  Have the pundits decided they do not want Cameron to have a free ride?  A close election means that readers will take more notice of what they are saying.  The polls and the recent analysis tell a different story.

Is it self-preservation or is the increasing influence of the leading bloggers that is worrying the so called opinion formers?
