Edward Chancellor is the economic historian who forecast the credit crisis back in 2005. He lead an inquiry called Crunch Time for Credit?
He has been interviewed on the BBC World Service programme, UK Politics. He is very clinical in his analysis and it well worth a listen.
From a political perspective, he underpins what Cameron said yesterday and why Brown is wrong not to apologise.
