Labour has 48 hours to go before the dam bursts

The last hour of the Today programme was like a wake this morning.  There were heavy hints from Nick Robinson that Brown’s days are numbered and that he has heard as much.  The most revealing interview was with Lord Falconer:

This is not the time for an internal conversation.  He is the current leader of the Labour party.

In other words, if you ask Falconer the same question on Friday he would drop heavy hints that is time for Brown to go.

The reshuffle will make little difference.  Brown’s premiership is nearly over.
