While Brown deals with the little local difficulty of his next door neighbour, Lord Desai appeared on the Daily Politics:
It is seriously possible that we will come below the Lib Dems at the general election. I’ve been saying that for two years.
Apart from recapitalising the banks. .. we really have to wonder where is the real solid achievement Gordon Brown has?
He basically had the chance to do constitution reform when he became Prime Minister... he hasn't done it for two years.
You do have to wonder if the fratricidal tendencies bubbling away underneath the surface of the Labour party finally break out on Friday when the local election results come in, no matter how well the reshuffle is organised.
