When Iain Dale plugged his internet his local election results programme he mentioned that the BBC were not covering the same on Friday. The BBC1 schedule now shows that they have wheeled out Dimbleby with all the trimmings for a fifty minute slot starting at 13.45 hrs.
I wish Iain and Hopi all the best for their programme and will be listening. However, it is the right decision that the BBC have seen sense and have decided to cover the results on their main channel on Friday. It could be one of the most dramatic days in politics for many a year.
That fifty minute slot may have extended somewhat if the Labour party declare war at 22.00hrs tonight.
