Iain Dale has posted about Mandy's absence from the airwaves He may well be right in what he is saying. I posted, following the PLP meeting earlier this week, saying that there were tensions with Labour's spin operation.
Also I doubt Mandy is that pleased that the bank bonus issue has not been closed down. John McFall at the Liaison Committee this morning was getting rather tetchy with Brown on this.
Furthermore I suspect that Mandy is not being listened to as much as he was. The novelty of having him back could be wearing off especially, as was reported, he is upsetting Labour MP’s.
