Paul Waugh reports that the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards John Lyon has asked the Home Secretary, in the light of fresh allegations made this weekend by her neighbours in south-east London, to provide additional information on where she actually gets her shut-eye.
Why has it taken so long for the penny to drop? The Mail on Sunday clearly reported over a week ago that she spends less time in London than in her family home.
Whatever, it looks like Jacqui is going to have to get her cheque book out and apologise for any misunderstanding on her part.
As I said at the time 3 nights in London is less than 4 at the family home.
