The word “Depression” used by Brown

The “saver of the world” used the word depression at PMQ’s.  Was it a slip of the tongue?  There was no attempt at a correction.

Brown warned against protectionism, adding global leaders needed to agree a monetary and fiscal stimulus: "that will take the world out of depression”

Lots of counter briefing to come no doubt.

I wonder what those Treasury forecasts really say?
