He didn't mean to say it, but he did mean it.
When Ed Balls delivered a speech on Saturday to a regional Labour Party Conference, he hadn't planned to say that "the reality is that this is becoming the most serious global recession for, I'm sure, over 100 years" - but he did mean what he said.
What we have here is Government spin overlaid with BBC spin.
Any other interpretations?

That was my interpretation when I read it earlier.
ReplyDeleteStandard stuff at the Beeb, of course, and Robinson is one of the prime players in the "Brown Broadcasting Corp" political news/comment dept.
I do hope youy keep an eye on Biased BBC…
