I finally caught caught up with The Deal by Peter Morgan. Ok I am behind the curve, but it was a fascinating insight into Brown’s personality and why he is not fit to be prime minister. Also revealing is the role of Mandy and why he changed his mind and backed Blair.
I firmly predict that an event will happen that Brown will not be able to cope with whist he is PM. His personality will see to this. We shall see.
Moreover it has to be asked, having watched the film, is why Mandy came back. He knows more than most, Brown’s weaknesses. What really was his motive in accepting Brown’s offer? This is far from clear.
Some thing will happen that will throw Brown, but what?
