The end of a cricket era?

With Hayden hanging up his Baggy Green today, Aussie cricket, with the fellow retirees Justin Langer, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath, finally comes to the end of an era.

The end of their super-power status has arrived.  Does this mean the England have a change in the forecoming Ashes?  Probably as the Australian bowling is not good at test level.

A plea to Brown.  Please do not give England your blessing, because then they will surely lose.

  1. Sorry mate, I'm in Melbourne now and they seem to have a secret weapon in the guise of 22 year old David Warner. With no first team experience to speak of he blazed onto the international scene the other night hitting sixes for fun against South Africa. Think Wayne Rooney with knee pads on.

Another guy called Siddle looks pretty darn good too, 140km/hr bowling and a "let's get into these guys" attitude.

Tough ask for England but Aussies on the ground are pessimistic so you guys might still take it.
