The hype ends with Ken Clarke predictably returning to the Shadow Cabinet. A risk for Cameron that could pay off. Watch Labour home in on the man and Europe. This will be a trap that will make the public yawn.
It will interesting that what other changes that Cameron makes. This will be his team that leads the party into the election so he has to get this right and make an immediate impact.
One thing that concerns me. Is the timing right? The changes will be announced on the same day that Brown has to revisit his policy towards the banks, as his initial initiatives have obviously failed. It may work as Clarke will be on hand to make comments. However Labour will attack the man to deflect from their failings. It may have been better to wait.
