It’s all rather late, but Martin Kettle fills in his application form:

Under a different leader, Labour would probably win this election.

Welcome aboard, however the committee will not be meeting during the campaign.  All effort is now directed at supporting the incumbent.

Note to all members:  As soon as David Dimbleby reveals the results of the BBC straw poll on election night a special announcement will be made.  You never know, the committee may have to be renamed.
