Tony Blair, who survived three election campaigns and won the lot, has decided to take a break from the media mania:
Tony Blair has booked a family holiday, believed to be a safari, to coincide with the start of the campaign.
No dates are given for Blair’s little holiday, but this where it gets interesting. As discussed:
Mr Blair will attend the first conference of the National Achievers Congress in Kuala Lumpur, which starts on 23 April. He will then travel to Singapore for the second, which starts four days later.
Perhaps Blair's “dry run” has not gone down well in Labour's private polling? Whatever, the party can’t leave this hanging in the air, otherwise unnecessary rumours will soon spread.
Blair's involvement with the campaign needs to be cleared up without delay.
