Never apologise, but explain

So, to return to this little pastime.  A couple of local difficulties presented themselves that are far from resolved.  A health issue bubbled up and then the part of my business collapsed.  However, whilst there is time some important matters should be dealt with.

There is the biggest cock-up in the history of the Labour party that has left Peter Mandelson and David Miliband with much explaining to do.  Then there is Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and the small matter of the Iraq Inquiry.  We mustn't forget about David Cameron, who has had difficulty of late holding that Ming vase.  Finally, there is young Nick Clegg, who is very much the dark-horse of 2010 and may well play a decisive role during the election campaign.

Before all that, there are some nuggets in Saturday’s dead-tree press that deserve attention.
